Just a quick reminder that tomorrow is Small Business Saturday where, thanks to the folks at American Express, there is push to get people to do some (if not all!) of their holiday shopping from local artisans and small businesses. The 2nd Annual Small Business Saturday(r), sponsored by American Express, is scheduled for November 26th. With Halloween officially behind us it means that, for many small food business owners, the biggest sales period of the year is heading directly at us like a oncoming train. The idea behind the Small Business Saturday is that it is meant to encourage customers to forgo big box stores and mass manufactured items and to instead shop at small independent retailers.
